Skye is now with her new mom and dad. They came to pick her up this morning. Below are some pictures that were taken while they were all here.

Hi Debra!
Just wanted to let you know that we arrived home safely and we are so happy!!!
You have done such a wonderful job with this little girl. She did great on the ride home- one big bark and a couple of whimpers and then she settled into my lap and the crate nicely. Today we walked her around our little backyard every couple of hours and played with her inside. She loves her new toys from you.
She loves her crate! She walks into it on her own and settles down for a deep sleep. I will let you know how the night goes.
Thank you so much for everything again!
Lots of Love,
T&C (proud mama and papa)
Here are the first pictures of our little gal- we think we have the name but we are going to give it one more night...
She did so well on the 45 minute drive home and has been an angel all day. We have been playing with her all day in hopes that she will sleep ok her first night. She is currently falling asleep sitting up (something her dad does regularly).
She takes to her bottle of Dog Perignon very easily- a family trait?
She just crawled into her little crate and passed out. :)
We are so happy- she is the sweetest pup ever!!!!
Lots of love,
T&C (the happy parents)

(yes Skye has a new name)
Lucy it is!!!!!
We had a great first night! No crying and she has been a little angel.
Lucy is a happy gal! Great first night!
Hope you like her name- coincidentally goes along with the Beatles song "Lucy in the SKYE with diamonds" :)
Lots of love,
Christine
11/28/09 - Now for a couple new pictures
Update 12/1/09
Lucy likes toy donuts!!!
Update 12/1/09
Hi Debra!
Lucy is doing fantastic! She has cut down on the crying- only a few wimpers and seems very happy! She is sleeping all night in her crate and has only had 3 piddles the whole time here. Thomas has been working with her on the sit command and she does it about 50% of the time. She will do just about anything for a treat! Hope all is going well with you. Lucy is such a snuggly sweetheart.
Xo Christine

LUCY UPDATE with PICTURES - YAY
From Lucy's Mom & Dad:
Hi Debra
Lucy turned 16 weeks yesterday and doing great!!!!!! She now tips the scale at 27 lbs. Hard to believe we've had her for almost 2 months. We were just joking about trying to remember what it was like without her. We've been having soo much fun and she's a hoot.
She is doing very well in her puppy classes: 2 down with 4 more to go. She'll do pretty much any command if you have a piece of freeze dried liver in front of her. One thing we're working on is her excitement jumping. She still gets super hyper anytime she sees a new face and starts bouncing up and down like a pogo stick, but she does it in such a loving way. It will just take a little time.
Potty training has gone well since the day we brought her home. She's only had a handful of accidents and is pretty well trained on ringing a bell at the front door when she needs to do her business. She really loves her crate and now heads in there every night on her own when she is ready to call lights out.
We took her to the beach the day after x-mas and she absolutely loved it. She was gobbling up sand like it was a huge bowl of food. She also started spinning around in circles the first few seconds her paws hit the sand. Soo funny.
She's been able to have a few play dates with our friend's adult boxer and an English Bulldog. She was hesitant around bigger dogs at first, but now loves to play with all dogs alike.
She is still a total snuggler as you can see in the pictures. She'll hop into anyone's lap (of course she prefers her parents) and be asleep in seconds. It will be interesting to see whose lap she can still fit in when she's full grown!
We must tell you that Lucy also lost her "perfect ears" as you called them! Her right ear now flops back a bit- but she is our cutie all the same. Does the taping work at all?
We are so proud of her champion sister! Congrats to Galaxy!
Lots of Love,
Thomas Christine and Lucy
AND 1/16/2010
Thanks Debra! I will look into the taping site more and see what see what we can do. Took Lucy to another puppy class and the trainer keeps using Lucy as a class example because she is picking everything up so quickly! (She is also quite easily distracted from her new tricks!)

Updates 3/31 & 4/1, 2010
Lucy is doing great- she is still a petite little lady at 40 lbs and we are still doing training with her. Lately she is park obsessed and we even found a few boxers she likes to play with. She is our little sweetie.
Lucy is very petite and the vet now thinks she will probably always be a little gal. I'm not sure on her height. She is very in proprtion though and receives many comments on her pretty face, markings, and color. What she lacks in size she makes up in energy! I have yet to find a dog that can keep up with her in the park! She is doing so well with commands and loves going to the beach.
Love,
Christine
Hope all is well - I will send pics soon!!!!!!
I bought 4 collars for Lucy today because she looked so darn cute in all of them. (She only needed one) I know I have a problem.
Doggie fashion show!

Updates & Pictures Received from 6/4/2010 to 6/17/2010
In recent weeks Lucy has been to her very 1st Boxer Meet Up at Crissy Field in San Francisco. This is what her mom had to say about it:
PS Went to the San Francisco Boxer Meet Up last weekend at Crissy field and had a blast! I will post pics soon. Lucy is so great with the other dogs and had so much fun! Needless to say she was the prettiest boxer there... :)
Also, Lucy was spayed on 6/17/2010 and this is what her mom had to say about that:
Lucy just had her surgery and everything went wonderfully! She recovered overnight and is our little champion today running around the house. Here I thought I would have a laid back boxer for a day- ha! She has the sweetest temperment. Such a little lover. The vet also cleaned out her tear ducts/sinuses which was very nice.
