We also give our boxers table scraps from just about every meal. We don't recommend this as our boxers are now top notch beggars because of this. If your going to feed table scraps in addition to your premium kibble we suggest you put the scraps in the dog dishes and not feed them from your plate.
We recommend feeding
Adults - Chicken Soup For The Soul (or other premium brands)- Adult
Puppies - Chicken Soup For The Soul (or other premium brands)- Puppy
Puppies/Adults - Raw Diet (if you know how to do this properly)
or other high quality premium Kibble.
We won't tell you what you have to feed your boxer but we recommend a high quality premium food such as listed above. Your boxer will be happier and healthier on a premium quality food.
If you have had experience with or know how to feed a raw diet that would be what is best for your boxer. We would feed raw ourselves if we knew exactly how to feed it so our boxers would get the most out of it.
Your boxer will come to you with a bag of Innova - Puppy Food. The only place we have found Innova is Bogies Discount Pet Feed & Supply located in Fremont, Ca.
Proper nutrition for your new puppy/dog is key to helping him live a long, healthy life. While we won't tell you what to feed your puppy/adult boxer we will tell you not to feed Pedigree, Old Roy, Science Diet, Iams, Kibbles & Bits or the like as in our opinion these are not suitable brands of food for any dog. Feeding any of the above mentioned foods or foods like them will render our health guaranty null & void
