Vendetta's Back In A Flash, CGC
aka
Buster
This is where we will display all Buster's life with his new family
Today we received our 1st update with pictures. He looks right at home and happy as can be. This is what his new mom had to say.
Hi Debra-
I have attached some recent pictures of Buster. He is getting the hang of "wait" and "sit". He catches on pretty quick. He is a joy to have around! :)
Enjoy-
Heather

Hi Debra-
I wanted to write you a quick note and let you know how Buster is doing.
He is a WONDERFUL dog. You really did a great job. We get constant compliments on how gorgeous he is. He is growing in nicely with great markings.
He got all of his last set of shots and vet check about 3 weeks ago. Everything went well.
He is a very sweet dog. Really patient with the boys. He is also very smart, but you know that already from mom and sis! :)
He fetches the paper every morning with "paper" command. He knows sit and lay down. He also knows "crate" and sleeps in it peacefully. He knows it is his little quiet spot. He also knows "bed" and stays there. He has gone out for a few walks and does well. Of course you will get the occasional STOP in mid-walk and then a boxer bounce. It is really cute. He is so bouncy, especially when he comes in after going outside. Potty training is going especially well!
Oh and I can't forget to mention- he fetches like a pro! Tennis balls are his fav! Water is still a touchy subject, but in time I know he will grow to love it. We are signed up for puppy obedience classes next month with the hopes of competing in obedience trials and agility courses. I know he will love it...
I have included some pics for you. I'll send you more soon.
Happy New Year!

We are extremely proud to announce that Buster took his Canine Good Citizen test, earning his CGC certificate on 4/6/2011 at a mere 7 1/2 months old. Wow, he is one smart puppy. His older sister Galaxy wasn't ready and didn't take her CGC test until 1 week before she was 13 months. That is almost twice as old as Buster was when he passed his CGC test. I am so VERY PROUD of BUSTER and his MOM HEATHER! WTG Both of you.
I Can't wait to hear about his future adventures in obedience and agility. I see great things with this very smart boy. I am SO VERY PROUD!

Buster is doing fabulous. Here is a few things his mom had to say about him.
He had bad gas for awhile but we found that plain yogurt mixed is his food worked wonderfully!! It also helped his stools become very regular.
He is doing great. He loves to play fetch with the kids, does really well indoors and has great manners (of course he is CGC!):) He is a great protector and has found various things behind our backyard to warn us about (deer, joggers, etc.) His crate training is perfect and eats and sleeps in there. He enjoys it. He took his first trip to Doggie day care with Fancie and did wonderful. He didn't get to play with any other doggies but Fancie (our Boston) since he wasn't neutered, but he really enjoyed his vacation while we were at Disneyland in late June.
He does have one ear that tries to lay backwards, like the way Galaxy's did before you cropped hers. It seems to have naturally corrected itself and lays relatively flat now with just a small bend. He also loves to drink from the water faucet out back. I have a picture of it for you.
We get tons of compliments on him and I think he is going to do well in obedience and agility. I am looking into local agility training but it seems hard to find. If you have heard of any good ones in Solano Co please let me know.
I attached a few pictures here. He loves his sister, our Boston Terrier, Fancie. I also have worked on stacking him for showing. I don't know if we will ever do much with it, but it is fun practice. As I get more and more experinced I would love to start showing my dogs and doing competetative obedience.
